As human beings, we all hope to have all our life plans come together in no time, some of us act towards it, while others simply wait for it to come and hit them in the face according to what they have been taught or told. If history doesn’t fail us, we have all known that people who have succeeded over the existence of this earth, Have had to put in the hard work in order to come out successful.

Now, there must be a dream that you have always had, to become a certain person in life, to have so much money (like every others person) , to have fame and power and so on. The difference between the people who didn’t achieve their dreams till their death and those who did, is that the successful people went after their dreams.

Pin Nigeria today, there ar a lot of unhappy people, most of them are graduate who have left college but have no job waiting for them like they were promised at birth and in school.

Grafuates in Nigeria have a big problem, which is that they undermine jobs, they select job even with the fact that some of them are unqualified for it even with their degrees, they don’t have enough weight in sir head to keep up a 1 hour conversation on what ever degree they have gotten. Most times I ask my fellow Nigerian youths who have no jobs a simple question.

Me: “What have you always like to become in Life, that didn’t need any form of education ?” 

Them: ” A Doctor”

Me: “no I mean something that doesn’t really need you to attend any school before you can do it. Ok what would you have become if you didn’t have the chance to atten college?”

Them: “Me I don’t know OO”

That surprises me.  Even  though some have good answers for me, others cut short the conversation to avoid being embarrassed. The rest have done absolutely nothing towards making their dreams come alive. If you graduated colleg and no job, then retrace your steps and have a rethink and come up with ideas of what you will feel fulfilled doing. As a kid, I have always loved to write, act, and sing. After college had a rethink aw well.

You can only feel fulfilled when you do what you like, what makes you feel smart, what challenges your mind, when your fulfillment doesn’t depend on any body else. When it doesn’t come from spite and tearing down people in the same struggle to succeed.

You can only be fulfilled when you are the source of your own fulfillment. Challenge yourself, try out new things, take risks, date who you like, don’t pay attention to people’s opinions, don’t listen to the ‘NOs’ you get from people who thought would be your savior.

With God, Your Actions, determination, hard work and consistency, you will surprise yourself. Don’t say I will start tomorrow, start today. Do it today. Don’t pay attention to any body laughing  at you and deciding your future for you, because even they themselves, don’t know what their future will look like. But you can affect your future by working towards it. But no one wants to work so hard and when it is time to reap the fruit of your labour, you die or passion. So To keep yourself healthy and hearty enough to experience that future you are building for yourself, you should better sick with ObyOrijifitness to keep the body running at all times. PRAY, WATCH, and ACT.

The surprising thing I saw people do on the road today.

In as much as we all want to lead a healthy life, there is always the need to trade with caution. After my run   Earlier  today, I was opportune to visit the busy main road, now crowded with cars and school kids and even workers,  where I saw a hand full of individuals like myself, running. while they ran on the road meant for cars just because the pedestrian walk way was flooded as it was being used by other people. And since they don’t want to run into anyone, they would rather run on the busy road, expecting vehicles to avoid them while they run. That is a selfish and high dangerous thing to do.

The danger involved here, can never be over emphasized. When people run early in the morning, even without having to disturb the road meant for cars, they are exposed to robbery, rape, accident, and fall. Now this has been known to be the regular stories coming from runners. But when you go as far as running on the way meant for vehicles, then you are doubling your already known risks. So please guys, don’t expect drivers to protect you when you can’t protect yourself by running on the path meant for pedestrians. Protecting yourself was the reason why you woke up in the first place to run. Losing weight and stay alive was the aim of your exercise, So please don’t contradict yourself by placing your body in a place that it can be gravely harmed.

Run on the pedestrian walk way. And if you can do that, then please engage in some kind of exercise that doesn’t require the road. Stay safe while living healthy. You can run in your neighborhood, you can run in your compound, and you can run on your street. It doesn’t have to be the road. There is the option for cardio, and gym. Those too can be safe for you while you try to get your goal body. Stay safe honeys .

ObyOrijifitness: Does your body get itchy after you have your bath?

Itchy body

Most people have had the experience of an uncontrollable body itch after they leave the bathroom. Some assume it is the water, while others assume it is the bathroom itself, because in my family, a dirty toilet and bathroom can disgust us so much that it can physically make us sick. Now After they boil or change the water or its source, and wash the bathroom, they still have the sameerah you reaction.

In some cases, it gets even worse that it doesn’t wait for you to have your bath before it starts itching. My sisters, Onyinye and Ada, one  who sometimes runs with me, while the other doesn’t have any form of physical exercise. They all started experiencing the itchy thing for some weeks now, they couldn’t say it is the bathroom, or the water because I wasn’t experiencing the same thing even though we all live together and used all those things together. They tried to investigate if there was a product that the both used that I didn’t use, and they couldn’t come up with a anything.

When they got fed up with it, and resulted to going to the hospital to find out for themselves what is going on. Surprisingly the Doctor told them that they have too much starch in the body. Their carbohydrate intake has been considered too much by their  bodies.  The doctor said I didn’t have the syptom, because my carbohydrate is regulated by my regular workout. Since they don’t workout, they alone suffered it without me. So I thought to myself how much importance workout has to us. Some we are completely aware of, while others like in this case, we are not. Now they both have been placed on a protein diet and have been asked to engage in some form of exercise to regulate the starchy level in their body.

Now if your body is equally going through the same thing, you should cut down on your carbohydrates intake, and start an exercise that will guarantee sweats. Sweating will hell get rid of things even you didn’t know we’re in your body.
