COPS LOOKING FOR SEX OFFENDER ZAHID YOUNIS FOUND WOMEN'S BODIES IN HIS FREEZER Police looking for convicted sex offender Zahid Younis found the bodies of two women hidden in a chest freezer in his flat. Younis, 36, of Vandome Close, E16, was convicted at Southwark Crown Court today of murdering Mihrican ‘Jan’ Mustafa, 38, and Henriett Szucs, 34. Their bodies were found in a freezer at Younis’ home in Canning Town on Saturday, 27 April 2019. Younis had previously pleaded guilty to two counts of preventing a lawful burial. Detective Chief Inspector Simon Harding, Specialist Crime, said: “This has undoubtedly been a complex case – the conditions in which both women were found were extremely challenging and I commend the extraordinary work of the forensic experts who helped us piece together the injuries they suffered and retrieve as much evidence as possible. “I also have the highest praise for the officers who went to Younis’ flat that day – it was a good old-fashioned police hunch that made them force open the freezer, intuition that something just wasn’t right. “I pay tribute to the victim’s families for their bravery, it must seem incomprehensible that their loved ones have lost their lives and then been found in such awful circumstances. “Younis is a violent, manipulative man with a history of abusing and controlling vulnerable women, often with transient and chaotic lifestyles like Mihrican and Henriett. However they lived their lives, these women had families, friends, people who cared about them and they died in a truly awful manner. “Younis’ actions are repugnant to us all. He lied throughout the trial, fabricating a story about how others had been responsible for both deaths; something he only came up with once he had heard the prosecution case against him. I am thankful the jury carefully considered the weight of the evidence against him and have convicted him today.” Follow us #globalnetpictures #GlobalNet_Pics #ZahidYounis #murder #guilty #mihricanmustafa #henriettszucs

#BusolaDakolo marks One year of her #Rape accusation of Pastor #Fatoyinbo

Screenshot_20200807-004352
View this post on Instagram

It is now officially one year after since I came out and told the most important story of my life up until this point. That when I was a teenager, Biodun Fatoyinbo violently raped me. It wasn’t just me. In the media, on social platforms and in private, women have been sharing stories of how this man either destroyed their lives or tried to. A lot has happened in that time: and my heart is glad that consciousness continues to be raised about the great evil that sexual abuse is, and how widespread it is, and how much women are at risk, and why we need to ensure justice for those who find the strength to speak out. Awareness is victory. But we are pushing to another even great victory: Justice. When the courts last year decided to rule in favour of the man who assaulted me, people were crestfallen. I understood. What they didn’t know however is that before we even began, we had been prepared for a long haul battle that may take years because the Nigerian legal system isn’t wired to help sexual abuse victims get justice. Today, I have a major update. The police has concluded its investigation. And handed over its report to the Ministry of Justice in Abuja for onward prosecution of Biodun Fatoyinbo. He clearly has a case to answer. But there has been silence from the ministry. Silence. A loud silence! We have written a letter but for over a month we have no response. Instead, my lawyers and my family have heard about all manner of manipulation and foul play being attempted to stop the ministry from beginning prosecution immediately. Or even to get the police report manipulated. My name is Busola Dakolo, a survivor of one of the most horrific acts -rape. My voice will not be shut down. My case will not be silenced. I am thankful to those in and out of the police, the ministry and the corridors of power who have called in solidarity and to reassure me that they are monitoring the ministry of justice and that this pressure to bury the case will not succeed. I am updating the Nigerian public because you all made my story matter. You joined me to say enough is enough. With you, this has been an easier process. #wearetired #notinmychurch #justice

#RIPIZU : A young #Nigerian Man commits #suicide after being accused of #rape

Screenshot_20200730-183906

Suicide is never the answer to anything. if you believe you have been accused of something, stay alive and prove it wrong. Killing yourself doesn’t automatically set you free from the allegations. Instead if the accuser was lying then they live with the guilt. But what about the general public? The guilty and the innocent all commit suicide, so it is not a means of justification of anyone’s innocence. Rip to him though.

#Rape Escalated during the #lockdown — Minister of Women Affairs Pauline Tallen

Screenshot_20200718-065730
View this post on Instagram

Pauline Tallen, Nigeria's Minister of Women Affairs, has attributed the spike in the number of rape cases to the lockdown. Tallen said this to state house correspondents on Wednesday, June 10 after the Federal Executive Council meeting where she brought up the rape pandemic in the country. . . She disclosed that an action plan which would involve the judiciary and the media, is being put in place to tackle the rape menace. . . “There has been an outcry against rape epidemic because of the lockdown. I know we have always had rape in this country but with the lockdown of people in homes because of COVID-19, women and children are locked down with their abusers. The number has escalated three times of what we had seen. There is no state with an exception. The number has reached alarming rate. . . We are calling for legal intervention. From details that we have, there are hundreds of cases that are within our courts that have not been addressed and out of each one case, be sure that there are 10 that have not been reported. . . Because of this, we call for media campaign and aggressive public enlightenment. We want people to rise and speak up against abuse of minors and rape cases. We also call for intervention of the judiciary for prompt dispensation of justice and police to ensure that rape cases are not treated with levity or wished away when reported. . . These were the issues brought before council, and I am glad to announce that we got a full support of Mr. President and all members of council that government will take decisive action at the highest level to protect women and children in this country” she said

Found Dead . . Social media users powered the name of Oluwatoyin “Toyin” Salau to become a top trending topic Monday morning as thousands of tweets were mourning the life of the young Black Lives Matter activist reportedly found dead in Florida over the weekend. Salau, 19, was last seen in Tallahassee on June 6 before unconfirmed social media reports of her death emerged more than a week later. . . The Tallahassee Police Department announced Sunday that it was investigating a double homicide and had made an arrest in the case but neither revealed the identities of the victims nor the suspect. . . During “the course of a follow up investigation in a missing person case” on Saturday night, Tallahassee police found “two deceased people,” the Tallahassee Police Department posted on its Facebook page on Sunday. “The deaths are being investigated as homicides and have been turned over to TPD’s Violent Crime Unit.” . . People on Twitter quickly pointed to the Facebook post as verification of Salau’s death. It was unclear who the other victim might be. . . One Twitter account purportedly belonging to someone helping Salau’s mother tweeted late Sunday night that “Toyin is no longer with us.” . . Salau tweeted before her disappearance that she had been sexually assaulted on June 6. . . As of Monday morning, a GoFundMe account to help find Salau exceeded its goal of raising $10,000. . . Salau’s reported death would be the latest in a recent string of suspicious deaths of young Black people as the nation protests against racism and police violence.

Alleged rape: D'Banj sues his accuser, Seyitan, for N1.5bn #Swipe to read the court papers . . Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D'banj, has sued his rape accuser, Seyitan Babatayo for N1.5 billion Naira. . In an initial lawsuit, D'banj demanded N100 million Naira from Seyitan Babatayo for "defamation of character" after she accused him of rape and demanded an apology through her lawyers. . Now, after all that has happened in recent times, D'banj, through his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome Chambers, has asked Ms Babatayo to pay N1.5 billion Naira. . N1 billion was demanded in damages "over the untold embarrassment, derision, public ridicule, odium, obloguy, marital disharmony, mental agony and psychological trauma which the Defendants' tweets and publication have caused the claimant." . N500 million Naira was demanded as "aggravated, puniitive, and exemplary damages." . The suit also demanded that Seyitan writes D'banj "a letter of unreserved apology for the offensive tweets and posts". . D'banj's lawyers also prayed the court to grant "an order of perpetual injunction restraining the defendant from further publishing, tweeting or posting offesnive libelous statements." . Recall that a week ago, Seyitan released a statement detailing the timeline of her case with D'banj. She had initially posted a tweet denying that she was arrested on D'banj's orders. She also said she wanted to put everything behind her. . However, in the statement released afterwards, she said she was arrested and held for 24 hours after which she was released to D'banj's team who took her to an undisclosed location, denied her access to her family and lawyers, threatened her, took over control of her social media account, and coerced her to retract her statement. . On Thursday, July 2, Segalink shared a thread on Twitter where he said Seyitan was not detained by D'banj's team as claimed. However, today, he did a turnaround and stated that Seyitan didn't lie and that she was indeed detained but not "kidnapped" by D'banj's team as the "e-femists" claimed.

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the probe of the policemen who allegedly arrested D'banj's rape accuser, Seyitan Babatayo. . The IGP gave the order in a letter signed on his behalf by his Principal Staff Officer, DCP Idowu Owohunwa and addressed to the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Force Criminal Investigation Department, Garki. . The IGP's letter was sequel to a petition written by Seyitan’s lawyer, Ojoge, Omileye and Partners. . In the IGP's letter titled "Re: Petition Against Inspector Abraham, Supol Ugowe and the Entire Police Officers Team at Ikeja, Lagos Division of the Inspector General of Police", the IGP asked that the petition from Seyitan Babatayo's lawyer be addressed. . The petition from Babatayo's legal representative – Ojoge, Omileye and Partners – allege that policemen attached to the Intelligence Response Team arrested Seyitan on the directive of D’Banj and detained her for over 24 hours. . It was also alleged that they denied her access to her phone and her lawyers and she was subjected to intimidation and psychological torture by the policemen. . The petition read in part, “On Tuesday, June 16, 2020, our client was picked up alongside a friend, Favour, at her residence in Lagos by the officers of the Ikeja IGP IRT. The arrest was without any warrant and neither our client nor her friend, Favour, was informed of the reasons for their arrest. . “According to our client, she was told to write a statement denying ever meeting with Mr. Oyebanjo (D’Banj) and to also state that she lied against the person of Mr. Oyebanjo. In actual fact, our client was about to write the statement which she believed would be a basis for her release when the counsel came in and stopped her from writing such a statement. . "The counsel further informed the policemen that all actions to the alleged rape of our client in December 2018 by Mr. Oyebanjo have been transferred to the DIG FCID for a thorough investigation and that they need to stay the action.” . . Old instagram post confirms Dbanj was indeed lodged at the Glee hotel same day he was accused of raping a lady. Swipe to read a narration of the event. . I have been following this story closely and having cross matched a lot of information from the accuser, accused and hotel, here is what i believe happened. Before the hotel released their statement, i believe they have gone through their records and ensured they are on the right side of the law. You see i do believe the room was booked either in Dbanj’s name or Franklin’s name and Franklin had both keys which he gave one to the girl and one to Dbanj while trying to convince her to sleep with Dbanj for money. I am more inclined to believe it was in Dbanj’s name after reading where he threatened her that he will send her out of the room naked if she doesnt comply with his request. Only the owner of the room will be confident enough to make such threat. I believe the lady went to stay in the room thinking Franklin got the room solely for her to stay overnight. The hotel is confident enough not to delete this old post because as they stated, their record doesnt have the lady registered as a guest and if their records are subpoenaed, we will most likely see Dbanj’s name on file and probably a cctv of him collecting a key to a room that is rightly his. That is if at all he will be seen collecting the room key if Franklin did give him the second key as i earlier suggested and he simply marched to the room to meet the lady. Whatever happened later, i believe the lady was ambushed by Dbanj and betrayed by Franklin. I understand that another angle will be that the lady indeed got key and went to the room knowing she will be sharing it with Dbanj later but then things could have taken a turn when he left without paying the 200k mentioned in the narrative. Whatever is the case, we will soon find out one way or another.

BuzzGist 🐝: "Lies from the pit of hell" D'banj finally addresses allegations of sexual assault leveled against him and reveals he has taken legal action. D'banj has reacted nearly two weeks after he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in December 2018. On June 3, a Nigerian model scout, Benjamin Ese, alleged that D'banj raped his friend on December 31, 2018, at Glee hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos. Subsequently, the woman revealed herself on Twitter. Seyitan Babatayo claimed she is the one D'Banj allegedly raped and she narrated how it happened. Seyitan Babatayo, in a series of Twitter posts, narrated how she had been invited to an all-white party at Eko Atlantic by D'banj’s manager. She claims that after the party, D'banj managed to obtain the key to her hotel room from a staff of the hotel and gained entrance while she was asleep. She then demanded a public apology from D’banj, through her lawyers (Ojoge, Omileye, and Partners). D'banj has now reacted to the allegations. He released screenshots of legal documents filed by his lawyers. In the legal documents, D'banj's legal representatives said the artiste totally denies the allegations. D'banj's reps accused his accusers of defamation and said Seyitan is a "gold digger". The singer's lawyers also demanded "100, 000 million Naira compensatory deposit to assuage his battered image." . . . #dbanj #iambangalee #kokomaster #celebritynews #naijamusic #naijaentertainment #instablog #trending #instablogger #instabloggers #ochadeblog

Woman beats, calls her 2 year old daughter a prostitute after she was Sexually abused by a grown man

images

What category do we give to a case like this for crying out loud? what level of understanding is this mother lacking that she had to blame her two year old daughter for being sexually abused? She didn’t do anything to the man caught, but turned right around to mock and beat up her 2 year old toddler. There is a level to things, but this one is just the height of stupidity.

After beating and injuring the baby’s eyes, she had the mindset to explain to whom it may concern. The mother in question looked malnourished and didn’t see much hope in fighting the man, so she takes out her anger on the innocent girl who was sexually abused.
