Venus Williams defeated by 15 year old Cori Gauff

guardiannigeria-1562104098139

Is it safe to say that Miss Williams was defeated by a younger version of herself. She most likely was the role model of this young lady at one point in time.

from @guardiannigeria – Venus Williams congratulates Cori Gauff after the latter won their women’s singles first round match on the first day of the 2019 Wimbledon Championships at The All England Lawn Tennis Club in Wimbledon, southwest London, on July 1, 2019.

Gauff, at 15 the youngest ever qualifier for Wimbledon, is not content with just beating five-time champion Williams — now she wants to win the title.

The teenage American, who was not even born when Williams won her first two Wimbledon singles titles, showed not an ounce of fear on Court One, making light of the 24 years age difference and her ranking of 313 as she eased to a 6-4, 6-4 victory.

Gauff made no bones about her ambitions at the tournament. “My goal is to win it,” she said. “I said this before: I want to be the greatest.

Cast of the new lion King, begin teasing fans with a collage of the stars behind each Character

beyonce-1562081269762

Gather here beyonce fans, and queue up behind the Lion King fans. The idea of the real voices behind each character staring their animal self in the face is so iconic. But first,  Should we start saying “Nala” already, or just go with the simple “Beyonce”? This is what fans can’t decide, since they were placed in awe of the teasing coming straight from the stable of the one and only Beyonce, who played the role of Nala in the Forth coming #Lionkingyhemovie

Playing the role of Nala in the much anticipated Lion King Movie that has not  yet to be released.

The mother of three seems to  be as excited as her fans on theach issue, despite always playing it down looked everything else.

Beyonce is not one to talk much on issues no matter the type, and because of the level of expectation fans have for this movie, she is sure doing a good tease job as she begins reminding fans of the proximity of the release date.

Now I know we are always anticipating, but it is even more intense now. With that being said, take a good look at the adorable fierceness depicted by these lion king characters. Did anyone disappoint you? I remember reading about this in 2017, and now it is already here. So iconic.

Nigerians Divide over the rape allegation levelled against COZA’s Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo by Busola Dakolo

punchnewspapers-1561887287023

Busola Dakolo, photographer and wife of popular artiste, Timi Dakolo, has revealed how she survived a rape ordeal by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the founder of The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).

Speaking during an exclusive Y! TV interview with Chude Jideonwo, the founder of Joy Inc., Busola explained that while a member of the church, she was raped by the pastor when she was still under the age of 18. .

The interview comes after Timi Dakolo called out the Abuja-based pastor over his alleged sexual relationship with female church members, even as he encouraged other victims who have gone through the experience to speak up. .

Reposted from @symplysimi – 😡 Furious. See how shaken she is reliving it. I pray sharing this truth relieves you of this burden @busoladakolo

To this man’s supporters – serve God, but don’t follow any man blindly. Ask questions! If it feels wrong, don’t ignore it. If u see something, talk!

Edit PS: Big props to Timi. From the stories I hear, a lot of people that have been raped find it harder to tell their story because the people that matter don’t believe them or question their role in it. So God bless you for giving her someone to lean on. Helping her to find the courage. For fighting for her, God bless you ❤️ – #obyorijiblog – #regrann

from @akahnnani – I woke up to several missed calls, and text messages. My friends know my relationship with @cozaglobal.
Let me say this. COZA is my church. I love my pastor… But rape, is a serious issue. My stomach churns as I write this. I spoke with @timidakolo a week ago and tried to understand why he had taken a stance against my pastor. I had just come back from honeymoon when all my friends sent me his attacks to my pastor a few weeks ago.
I sought to understand, not to attack. I was under so much turmoil too because this is my church, my pastor, and I cannot go around like nothing is happening and the church isn’t addressing anything or re-assuring the members.

We must not see evil and cover it. We must not see evil and turn the other way. You all know me. I attack and speak out against corrupt political leaders everytime. Well, this has hit home. Our leaders and our fathers must be held accountable. And they must deem us worthy to be answerable to. If we cannot clean in the church, forget it. We cannot clean the country. I am tired of hearing so much, so much rubbish about my church and leadership over the years especially cos of the industry I belong to, nothing passes our ears behind the scene.

My pastor @biodunfatoyinbo has to say something this time. If the rest of the church does not need it, I need it. For my sake, sir… Speak on this.
I stand with @busoladakolo as she has spoken her truth. I stand with the body of christ also. I ask that my pastor come out and speak his own truth.

I am praying for the church. Please let us pray for both the Dakolo and the Fatoyinbo families. (wife and kids). In the end, if we need to, let us scatter the place… Then the truth will stand up. 💔 – #obyorijiblog

@busoladakolo I thank you for speaking your truth in a world were the moral compass of the masses has gradually shifted to an “almost anything goes” position.

from @renoomokri – For The Body of Christ, Not For Pastor Fatoyinbo
I have NEVER liked Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA for reasons that I will not say publicly. However, I am mature enough to divorce my emotions and be led by logic. And I counsel those now condemning him to do the same.
The average Black African is easily moved to hysteria by excitable emotions. This is why it is RIDICULOUSLY easy to manipulate Africans with the media Satan does his best work with such people, who can’t suppress emotion in preference to logic.
Think. Dont emote. A pastor comes to your house early in the morning. He does not know who will open when he knocks, or who is at home. He knocks and immediately you open he pushed you to a chair and raped you in your pyjamas. Do people think?
Even the most USELESS movie director wont accept such a plot in a B rated Hollywood/Nollywood/Bollywood movie. A movie has to have PLAUSIBILITY. I dont like pastor Fatoyinbo, but I won’t suspend my intellect because of my dislike of the fellow.
After he allegedly raped her, she kept quiet for enough time for him to go to his car and get a soda drink for her? It does not ADD UP. My dislike for Biofun Fatoyinbo won’t make me become a SLANDERER by default. This story rings very FALSE.
I am an advocate of morality. For years, I publicly preach against premarital and extramarital sex. I pastored a congregation in Abuja for years. I will NEVER, EVER, support RAPE. But satan is going about like a roaring lion seeking whom to consume!
Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo is SLEEK. Too sleek for my liking. What type of sleek man will rape an underaged girl in HER PARENTS HOUSE. While HER SIBLINGS are AT HOME. And then leave her to go get a drink from his car. Is this mass HYPNOSIS.
Do we Black African of the Nigerian variety think at all? Do we only exist in the soulish realm? I have a Masters in Law from England. The story CANNOT stand up in court. The story CANNOT stand up in the light of cross examination.
I give you my word that if you gave satan 10 minutes to manipulate the minds of Nigerians, he will get a sizeable number of Nigerians to believe that Jesus is evil and he satan is good. We are too gullible, excitable – #obyorijiblog

from @adesuaetomi – Survivor. Not a victim. You have spoken your truth even when you knew it could cost you everything.
Clearly, we still need to have active conversations about rape because a lot of people CLEARLY still don’t get it.
Busola, we are proud of you. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
You have done something.
Ps I have turned my comments off because I am not looking for people to validate or invalidate my stance. Regardless of either, It is my stance.
#istandwithyou #istandwithbusoladakolo – #obyorijiblog

from @ceec_official – Every human has a right to tell their story. I will not stand around and watch anyone try to silence a woman for speaking their truth. We live in a society where women suffer abuse daily and are too afraid to speak, for fear of condemnation. Any woman finding the courage to speak is nothing short of bravery in my eyes and nobody has a right to try to silence or discredit them.
I understand my stance may bring about certain consequences but it is important to me to make it known that I don’t support shaming or discrediting a woman for her truth . – #obyorijiblog

.

I’ve been meaning to write this since morning, but I literally have been too upset to do it. .

I Salute your bravery @busoladakolo, in a country where victim shaming is the norm, speaking out is truly one of the most difficult things to do, it is literally a life changing event. I applaud you Busola and I stand with you.
I’m sorry this happened to you. I pray, you finally being able to speak your truth accelerates your healing, or at the very least, makes easier your ability to cope. . .

For every rape victim out there that has been unable to speak their truth for whatever the reason might be and perhaps you walk around with a smile on your face but you’re truly dying inside, I’m so sorry
I stand with you too.
Self care is ok, it’s ok to do what you think you need to do to survive your trauma.
I’m sorry for everything you’ve been through and probably are still going through and I pray that one day your rapist gets what they deserve.
.
.
For victims who are torn between speaking out or not, If you’re able, (ITS ok if you’re not) but if you’re able, please SPEAK YOUR TRUTH! And name your abuser… your abuser depends on your silence, if you can, speak up! You might be saving someone else and it increases the chances of him getting some kind of justice.

I pray all rape victims are able to get to a point when they are completely free of pain from their trauma . .
.

And just FYI: .
.
. “Why didn’t she scream” – BLOCKED! .
.
“Was he a pastor then?” – BLOCKED! .
.
“Why was she wearing a nightie” – BLOCKED! . . . (I will block and report you for this one because you must be extremely obtuse to ask this) . . . .. . “Why is she talking now “- BLOCKED . . . . “Does she have any evidence” – BLOCKED (you’re right, she should have told him, “please pause, let me quickly grab my camera so I can record this and have some evidence against you later ” ode! . . . .
. “Touch not my anointed “ – BLOCKED! (Your block will be especially satisfying because you are especially daft) . .
. “She is an attention-seeker” – BLOCKED! .

“It is not the pastor’s fault its the Devil’s “- BLOCKED!… and so on .

from @ikosakioduwa – @busoladakolo you are not a victim and not only a survivor but a hero too. Telling your story could not have been easy. Thank you for being brave and speaking for the many that can’t. We all have to do better to support women and children that have been raped and abused. Please don’t be part of the people that make it hard to speak up. It is an extremely traumatising experience and survivors must always be handled delicately.
For anyone who may recently have been through a similar horror please know that NOTHING you could have done or said justifies it. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT! Please find help. There is a center called The Mirabel Center and they help you through situations like these. They can be found on the premises of The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital. from @mofedamijo – Two sides to a story does NOT invalidate the truth of the abused, the molested, the hurting. Do NOT be quick to rebut someone’s pain. Do NOT speak too hastily for someone who can speak for themselves. Do NOT expect a rape story to make sense to you because when a predator strikes, the circumstances are not his first thoughts. Busola Dakolo, popular photographer and wife of musician Timi Dakolo has accused #BiodunFatoyinbo, Pastor Commonwealth of Zion (COZA) of raping her as a young virgin girl.

The allegation is coming weeks after her husband #TimiDakolo in a series of posts on Instagram called out the Abuja based pastor for serially molesting women in the church.

from @instablog9ja – “Sue us if you dare,” #TimiDakolo tells pastor #Fatoyinbo, as Nigerians reveal the likely reason his wife was given Krest to drink after the alleged incident. [Swipe] – #obyorijiblog

from @georginaonuoha – Woke up to this and my heart sunk reading some of the commentaries by ignorant Nigerians. As developed as the United States is, rape victims still struggle to speak up knowing the backlash they will face and wondering if anyone will believe them or not.
For the miscreants questioning the timing of her story, I hope you understand the gravity of trauma most rape victims go through.
Dear Nigerians and Christians, stop believing in your pastors, priests, and spiritual leaders. Take their preachings and evaluate their morals. Remember pastors are men and will always prey on the helpless, naive and vulnerable. Don’t trust no man or spiritual leader as a supreme being. They are human and hence fallible. Being a man of God doesn’t mean they will not do their best to take advantage of you sexually, emotionally, financially and otherwise.
As a Catholic, I have witnessed first hand how those you love will cross boundaries to a point of wanting to sexually assault you. Yes, as a young woman who acquired fame at a young age, these phonies will want to take advantage of you all in the name of wanting to guide you spiritually. At age 22, a priest almost raped me unfortunately for him, I might have appeared naive and soften spoken boy was I raised Army strong with a warrior spirit. I told him not today and not never.
I moved past that but not every woman has same fighting spirit. Some are damaged for life while others take a different path to self destruction because they can’t cope with the trauma they experience.
Don’t be quick to condemn a woman telling her painful story of rape and defend a Pastor you know nothing about. That they stand on that pulpit does not mean they are holy. Many have the grace to minister but the flesh thrives on the power and authority they hold. Trust no pastor or priest with your wives, daughters and loved ones. Go to church listen to the gospel and go home and live according to Christ teachings. Stop worshipping your pastors. Stop venerating your priest. Love them from afar and pray for them.
Lots of wolves in sheep clothings.
Spiritual leaders are suppose to give guidance and moral support to their community but most have become predators. – #obyorijiblog

I remember vividly when we gave our lives to christ and dedicated everything to God, sang in choir, went for workers meeting, foundation school e.t.c
At that point in our lives we sat under the teaching and counsel of “Pastor” about 4 to 5 times a week, at some point these pastors started to look like God in our eyes. we considered them spotless and called them FATHER.

So YES! it’s possible to not fight such men when they attempt to rape and abuse you…. it’s also possible to try to forgive them because of God and move on like nothing happened but most importantly, “THE FEAR OF JUDGEMENT” cripples women from speaking up! We must get rid of the religious immunity we have granted to them and speak the truth about these so called pastors and religious leaders… they are scaring our women/men/ children and getting away with it.

THANK YOU @busoladakolo for being so strong!

Reposted from @goldmynetv – Busola Dakolo’s Rape Story Is False – Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan, has faulted the rape allegations by Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola, against the founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo.

GoldmyneTV had reported Busola Dakolo as accusing the pastor of rape.

Busola, a mother of 3, explained how Pastor Fatoyinbo allegedly forced his way into her when she was a teenager.

Omokri, while reacting, said Dakolo’s narration of how she was raped is not plausible, adding that Pastor Fatoyinbo is too ‘sleek to rape an underage girl’. According to him, though he does not like the COZA Pastor, the story does not add up and ‘rings false’.

Omokri wrote: “I have never liked Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Coza global for reasons that I will not say publicly. However, I am mature enough to divorce my emotions and be led by logic. And I counsel those now condemning him to do the same. “The average Black African is easily moved to hysteria by excitable emotions. This is why it is ridiculously easy to manipulate Africans with the media Satan does his best work with such people, who can’t suppress emotion in preference to logic. “Think. Don’t emote. A pastor comes to your house early in the morning. He does not know who will open when he knocks, or who is at home. He knocks and immediately you open he pushed you to a chair and raped you in your pajamas. Do people think? “Even the most useless movie director won’t accept such a plot in a B rated Hollywood/Nollywood/Bollywood movie. A movie has to have plausibility. I don’t like pastor Fatoyinbo, but I won’t suspend my intellect because of my dislike of the fellow. “After he allegedly raped you, you kept quiet for enough time for him to go to his car and get a soda drink for you? It does not ADD UP. My dislike for Biodun Fatoyinbo won’t make me become a slanderer by default. This story rings very false. “I am an advocate of morality. I publicly preach against premarital and extramarital sex. I pastored a congregation in Abuja for years. I will NEVER, EVER, support RAPE. But Satan is going about like a roaring lion seeking whom to consume! – #obyorijiblog

Reposted from @akahnnani – This issue has been addressed by the senior pastor. Pastor has said he never raped anyone in his life. Good! Praise God. Now what next?
Dear @biodunfatoyinbo The next thing to do sir, is to step down from the position of senior pastor. But I know you know this sir and the church is in fact already making arrangements for this because anything contrary to this would be unconscionable, corrupt and anarchical.
In proper states, governments, working systems, businesses and organisations even in the circular domain, the leader in question will step down first. INNOCENT OR NOT.

The only thing I want to hear on Sunday is pastor announcing to the church that he is stepping down and not a single word more to sway the emotions of the congregation or encourage them to defend on social media or even any sermon from him. Someone else can take the word. TILL THIS WHOLE THING CLEARS AND WE CAN SEE ROAD!! But hey, Like I said, I know they will do the right thing.
Now, ‘Should in case’ He doesn’t step down, or he preaches a sermon, or just maybe the church organisation does not know the right thing to do, then I am calling on all well meaning human beings, all well meaning Christians, truly called Pastors, to raise their voice on all social media platforms with this hashtag, #PastorStepDown and demand for the right procedure to be followed till the whole matter is resolved. On all social media platforms.

I humbly implore ALL @cozaglobal members to watch the entire 4 parts of @busoladakolo account with a pure and human heart. Watch with the intention to listen. See the woman speaking. SEE HER.

May we all operate in wisdom and love. Madness is not Nigeria’s surname. May Nigerians be free from slavery. The truth will stand up.

By the way we need CAN and PFN to step into this matter. I believe these associations are regulatory bodies of Christian churches too. Please bring the table out in the open.

Reposted from @punchnewspapers – COZA pastor, Fatoyinbo, denies rape allegation, threatens to sue

The pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Biodun Fatoyinbo, on Friday denied rape allegation made against him by Busola Dakolo, wife of musician, Timi Dakolo, and threatened to sue his accusers.

Following the allegation by Busola in an interview granted to Ynaija that she was raped by the popular pastor while she was a teenager; Fatoyinbo released a statement on his official Instagram page to debunk the allegations levelled against him, saying several statements had been made to extort the church through blackmail, harassment and intimidation.

The statement read in part, “I am aware that there has been a recent media publication on YouTube by YNaija operated and owned by RED Media Group, which shows an interview by Chude Jideonwo with Busola Dakolo. Prior to now, we had adhered to our policy of ignoring rumours from social media accounts as we knew that several statements had been made to extort the church of money and myself through blackmail, harassment and intimidation. We have refused time and again to accede to their request, which has infuriated them overtime; because of this, they have got more aggressive. “Unlike previous statements where innuendos were used and there was no direct mention of myself or the church, the recent video released on YouTube has now made direct criminal allegations against me in the interview granted by Busola Dakolo, which are fallacious, non-existent and which are all denied in every measure.

[SWIPE 👉🏽]Yes I said it & I so mean it. PS Let me give you guys a gist: sometime last year, one African pastor was trying to offer me money to spend a night with him. Straight up. Directly like that. Before I came back to my senses and expressed my disbelief , man blocked me ( it was on IG and his profile was verified)….and to think its the same person some poor man is giving his last money to hoping to tap into his “blessings” faster and enduring hunger thinking God will be pleased with his gesture… SMH!!!! The Power that is headed to these people is ENORMOUS because society finds it VERY INAPPROPRIATE, UNACCEPTABLE AND EVIL to question their ways because they are “people of God”!!! Imagine, JUST IMAGINE, if EVERYONE FELT FREE to speak their truths how many UNBELIEVABLE & SCARY stories we would hear by now! This BRAINWASHING needs to stop! If Jesus Christ was to see all the things people preform hiding under religion, Im very sure He would not want to be related to Christianity in any way. Sanwo Olu marks first birthday as a Governor

lagosstategovt-1561485058018

The governor of Lagos State Nigeria Babajide Sanwoolu has turned a year older as a governor. The governor was more concerned with wishing his birthday mate a happy birthday than his own. BOS what’s good? Won’t there be a certain  government house party that will be secretly graced by the presence of these ever ready unilag sisters in the ungodly hours of the night? Just wondering aloud Sir, don’t take it to heart.

Once again happy birthday Sir. But wait, how old are you now? Think long and hard before you answer because you just might need to give us the football age incase should you decide to run for another office in future, we can always check for your real age from here you know. Be smart like a typical Nigerian that you proudly are.

from @jidesanwoolu – It’s such a delight and honour to share the same Birthday with a quintessential Gentleman, a detribalized Nigerian, and a parliamentarian extraordinaire.
My dear Friend and Brother. Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

My wish for you today is God’s blessings and wisdom.

Happy Birthday, and God bless. – #obyorijiblog

Station cancels live broadcast because female referee was wearing shorts.

instablog9ja-1561144562993

Islamic Republic of Iranian Broadcasting, IRIB, on Friday, failed to broadcast a match between Bayern Munich and Ausburg in the Bundesliga because German referee Bibiana Steinhaus was officiating.

According to Deutsche Welle, the broadcast was stopped because of the country’s strict Islamic laws which do not allow images of women wearing shorts to be shown on TV.

The Iranian women’s football team play in hijab, long-sleeved shirts and trousers. Female football fans were allowed into the main national stadium for the first time in 37 years during the World Cup after the government relaxed its ban on women at sporting events.

                      My Opinion

So they wanted her to put on trousers and hijab and run around the field with everyone so they don’t sexually activate the viewers and their children at home watching. The fact that this ridiculousness is coming from the same people that optically transform everything to be sexual, while still trying so hard to make the world view them as holy is infact not funny any longer. It might have been, but not any more.

Sore losers: Nigerians demand a rematch for Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz

punchnewspapers-1559645734838

Seems Nigerians couldn’t get through the complete steps of grieve, cos they are stuck on the DENIAL stage. The various expected reactions were given off by friends and fans of 29 year old boxing Champion Joshua Anthony who by the way, reportedly made alot more money than Ruiz in that last match. So you can’t just be sure that he lost. Because making that muche money is not a loss in anyone’s dictionary.

The British born Yoruba Nigerian Anthony Joshua, who lost his IBF, WBA and WBO titles to American Andy Ruiz Jr at the Madison Square Garden, New York, on Saturday has assured his fans that he would be taking back his throne. While he received support from his fans and critics, and even got a batch of mockery from the attention loving 50cents, who has mocked and memed and laughed at the champion.

While many Nigerians expressed misconception as they could understand whg the well trained musvular star, was taken so far down by an Abs-less, non trained, street fighter American Andy.

I’m guessing that life is a better training than gym as Andy has proudly proved.

However, Nigerians have shown the world how much of a sore loser they can be as a nation, as they made it known that  Joshua could fight back but weirdly didn’t. They want a reMarch.

However, Joshua on his verified Twitter handle assured his fans that the defeat won’t distract him. “The vision remains the same! Thank you to everyone who travelled,” he tweeted.

Reacting to his defeat, some Nigerians said they felt bad and shocked.

August Bones @Ausbones said, “I felt sad over Joshua’s loss. He is still my champion and like a phoenix, he shall rise again. As a Nigerian, I associated with him for so long in victory and now in defeat.” “Great winners sometimes lose, Saturday was his turn. I believe he will do better next time,” Emmanuel Enyeribe added.

Nigerians were however divided on whether the match was real, fixed or stage-managed.

Terese Ninga said, “In my area, many people believe that this fight was a scam, that it was a fixed match, preparatory to a bigger rematch.” “To me, I think it is not a match-fixing. He never rated Ruiz. He lost because he was overconfident. Getting a rematch is the shortest route for him to reclaim his titles. I don’t think he planned it this way,” another Nigerian, who identified himself as Samuel added.

Fans left broken hearted as Andy Ruiz knocks out Anthony Joshua, taking three world titles

-1559488675958

Champion Anthony Joshua’s gets dethroned by a boxing underdog and his confidence bruised by the one and only Andy Ruiz.

With the intent to uphold his throne in the last fight, Anthony Joshua was rather disappointed as a flabby, less trained, but more experienced Andy (well done Papi 😉😉) cleared his doubt and knocking him to the ground 4 solid times.

The three belt heavyweight world champion got wide eyed after the stunning loss to underdog Andy Ruiz at Madison Square Garden in Newyork on Saturday.

Ruiz recorded a monster upset, knocking down Britain’s Joshua four times to take the World Boxing Association, International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organization titles.

Ruiz came into the fight as a massive 20-1 underdog. But he won it in the middle of the seventh round when the referee stopped it at 1:26 of the round after the fourth knockdown.

While fans are finding it hard to make do of the outcome, they are however still showing support for Anthony at his time of need.

But no broken heart is as intense as that of his Country men Nigeria. After tending to their wounds, Nigerians have made an astonishing recovery as they begin to show support for the countryman.

Andy Ruiz Jr. knocked out the undefeated Anthony Joshua in the 7th round to win the heavyweight championships. Andy Ruiz Jr. Beats Anthony Joshua with an unbelievable stunning performance in New York.

I hope Andy Ruiz does well to enjoy that title cos it seems it doesn’t last for ever. Congratulations are in order for the winner, and better luck next time for the other.

The judge held that the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt a count of murder pressed by the state against the Cameroonian.

Cook who killed his boss, 2 months to her wedding, sentenced to death . Leudjou Koyemen Joel, the Cameroonian cook who stabbed his boss, Dayo Adeleke, to death on December 20, 2016, has been sentenced to death by a Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere.

Joel stabbed Adeleke in the neck and heart because she allegedly refused to give him a two-week salary advance which he requested for earlier that morning.

The refugee from Cameroon was being rehabilitated in a church in Lagos, when Adeleke employed him on compassionate grounds, following a request by the pastor of her church.

However, she was murdered, seven months after employing him and two months to her wedding in February, 2017, having been engaged 3 months earlier. – #obyorijiblog

My Opinion

You are welcome to Nigeria where you innocence strictly depends on your connections and state of origin. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not here to vindicate a murderer, I’m saying that the fact that this case involves a foreigner killing a Nigerian could not even mean that it ends like this.

It is in this same county that is forming all lawful and upright,  that a handful of Boko Haram members who have killed thousands of Northern Nigerians, they get into jail and after weeks they are released with the excuse that they have tuned a new leaf.

They to as far ass telling the nation that the Nigerian Army has absorbed these criminals. This country where people who assure called leaders make away with the money meant for the People of the country, and they publicly witch hunt the members of the opposition party while vividly protecting their own part member who has done worse.

If this guy’s has committed one murder and is about to killed, then on what ground did you forgive the group of people who killed thousands ? Why are the Boko Haram members being rehabilitated instead of facing the wrath of the law? Unbelievable..
