Lagos State isolation centre… Well done…

The director-general of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Chike Ihekweazu, says Nigeria cannot ramp up its testing capacity for coronavirus (COVID-19) infections because the infrastructure does not exist. . Nigeria has 65 confirmed cases of the disease that's sweeping the world, but the country has only tested 262 people in one month. The low rate of testing has raised concerns about what could be the true spread of the disease around the country. . The World Health Organisation (WHO) has stressed that increased testing is the best way to detect and contain the virus. . However, while speaking during an interview on Arise TV on Friday, March 27, 2020, Ihekweazu said it's currently difficult for Nigeria to step up testing based on resources available. . "The global message is tests tests tests, but there are several limitations we have," he noted. . The NCDC boss said the country is strictly sticking to only the molecular testing that is approved by the WHO. He noted that none of the rapid testing kits being offered by private bodies work reliably enough to be accepted. . He said the Federal Government has released more funds to improve efforts, but that the hope is more effective rapid testing kits can be developed in good time. . "There's no magic bullet. This is science," he said. . Nigeria has confirmed 65 coronavirus cases in nine states – Lagos (44), FCT (11), Ogun (3), Ekiti (1), Oyo (1), Edo (1), Bauchi (2), Osun (1), and Rivers (1). . One of the cases died earlier this week, but a total of three people have made full recoveries and discharged. . #PulseNigeria #PulseNews #NCDC #CoronavirusNigeria #CoronavirusUpdates #COVID19Nigeria #Coronavirus #COVID19Lagos #COVID19 #Coronavirus

Nigeria’s President tested positive to #Coronavirus but is hiding the result — #CNN

IMG-20200327-WA0000

We are indeed aware of some signs and symptoms that seem to be having up this allegation of CNN, but are for some reason deciding to hide it instead, since our Governement will rather hide and force down an idea down our throats because they think it will cause hopelessness and chaos in the Country.

This is the extent of insincerity in the Country if this turns out to be true. CNN has not exactly very accurate with all their broadcasts, but when it was reported that one of the only two Ventilators in Gwagwalada teaching hospital has been taken to Aso rock, and Aso rock as a whole getting fumigated, people of the world are not fools, so they started putting the pieces of puzzle together and came out with this conclusion.

The World Health Organisation has said the novel coronavirus which has infected over 400,000 people and killed over 18,000 in 196 countries cannot be transmitted through mosquito bites. . In 2018, WHO reported that there were an estimated 228 million cases of malaria worldwide with over 405, 000 deaths. . It commented that of the global malaria burden, “Africa carries a disproportionately high share as the region is home to 93% of malaria cases and 94% of malaria deaths”. . However, in a list of COVID-19 myth busters released recently, the UN specialized agency for global health stressed that mosquitoes, which spread plasmodium parasites and malaria vectors, DO NOT transmit coronavirus. . It also said taking a hot bath, alcohol consumption, drinking hot tea/coffee, using hand dryers, amongst others do not prevent the ravaging pandemic. . Here is the list: . 1. Coronavirus CANNOT be transmitted through mosquito bites —– To date, there has been neither information nor evidence to suggest that coronavirus could be transmitted by mosquitoes. Coronavirus is a respiratory virus which spreads primarily through droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes, or through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose. . 2. COVID-19 virus can be transmitted in areas with hot and humid climates ——- From the evidence so far, the COVID-19 virus can be transmitted in ALL AREAS, including areas with hot and humid weather. . 3. Cold weather and snow CANNOT kill coronavirus ———- There is no reason to believe that cold weather can kill coronavirus or other diseases. The normal human body temperature remains around 36.5°C to 37°C, regardless of the external temperature or weather. ……………. #Nigerianpolice begins forcefully shutting down non essential Markets and shops

Screenshot_20200327-094530

Seems liquor is to someone what essential good and water is to others. They clearly are doing the one significant thing to make people comply, but that destruction is simply alittle too much and in my opinion, unnecessary to say. Were they trying to completely make you regret disobeying the Governor that they had to encure cost for the perpetrators.

Please stop the destruction and just enforce laws as expected. PLEASE, THIS is not the time to put people into more stress by causing them pain intentionally. Nigerian force will always go a step ahead.
