The people of Imo state commence changing the names on Buhari related Landmarks.

IMO people retrace their steps

The IMO people have shown great level of steadfastness for a long period of time. They and Abia state have been so unlucky with a long stream of selfish and  non developing Governors.

While they were all deceived by the then newly formed political party APC in 2015, which they were said to have accepted completely, thinking the

y were going to for the very first time, have a new life in the state, being that the Governor (Rochas), is an APC candidate.

The had everything named after the new president Buhari, they had parties thrown in celebration, while the people of IMO state cheered on from the background, with the hope that their backstabbing act on her he rest of their tribesmen, was going to get them what they needed. But fast forward to 2017, and nothing is looking different except for the ridiculous acts of the Governor.

Ranging from making big random statue of African leaders for no impressive or impeccable  reason. The Governor undertook tasks without the fear of impunity. As if that wasn’t enough, he went on to appoint his sister the ‘minister of happiness’.

A title that was likely going to be heard in animated movies. While people waited to see if the President was going to say something to end the child’s play, he turned his face away, with the mindset that if Rochas who is supposed to be a half Igbo man, is coming down on his people at such speed and intensity, then who is he Buhari, to correct him.

The series of disappointment the people of the East, most especially IMO and Abia have suffered in the hands of their very own Governors, has been the very reason an average igbo man  is considered ‘selfish’. He knows that the possibility of his brother being bought over by the enemies, is very high, so trades with caution.

The people of IMO state have given almost four years to this Wolf in Sheep clothing party APC, and it is even more glaring that this is not going to be any different from the parties Nigeria has had since Independence, so they started changing all the State’s landmarks that had Buhari’s name on them during their bootlicking days.

This decision might not get them what they wanted, but it will leave them feeling a little more satisfied that they have ceased the bootlicking, and are no longer expecting anything from anyone.

Nigeria’s bad governance is not a new topic to the Country itself, and the world at large. But when we know that a thing or person is bad for us, and we insist on it just for our selfish reasons, then we will all live to experience the result of it all. Be a one sided man or woman. Don’t be on a fence trying to please both parties involved, it is evil.

” I will remain a good friend to Ndi Igbo”- President Buhari

Findings

President Muhammadu Buhari has described the rumors that he’s against the Igbo people as lies. He denied it, saying he will remain a friend to Ndigbo,” According to Punch news.

President Buhari said this at a special empowerment programme for widows at Ebonyi State, organised by the Chinedu Ogah Foundation, where he was represented by the Executive Director in charge of Administration/Training, Nigeria Television Authority, Steve Egbo.

He said if he hated the Igbo people, he would not have picked Chuba Okadigbo as his running mate in 2003. He said:

All these accusations, permutations are all lies calculated to create bad feelings of Igbo people.

I will remain a friend to Ndi’Igbo. I recall that in 2002, I invited the late Ikemba Chukwuemeka Ojukwu to my hometown of Daura. We discussed about the unity and indivisibility of Nigeria.

In 2003, I picked Dr. Chuba Okadigbo as my running mate in that year’s presidential election. If I hated Nd’Igbo, I wouldn’t have done that.

In 2017, the Federal Government under my leadership commenced work on the Second Niger Bridge following its abandonment by the previous governments all these years.

We hope that this doesn’t succeed in becoming a fact to some light minded individual in whom, people’s hope have been placed upon. Politicians never get transparently truthful.

Normally in Nigeria, festive period brings mixed feelings. Festivity and fright. People celebrate with the mindset of a possible attack on gathered Christians in church or on the street.

Even though the president announced that he is doing all that he possible can, to improve the living standard of the citizens of Nigeria. The people would love to know if soldiers have been placed in strategic places (check points) especially in the Northern part of the Country where festivity suicide bombing has been reoccurring over the years. Christians in the North will feel better knowing that they are being looked out for. Merry Christmas in Advance everyone.
