#Moabudu reveals the building that’s about to become the #Ebonytv #headquarters

I don’t know about you, but my love for a house make over has taken over my self control in this case and I cants wait to legit see the outcome of this beauty when Moabudu has finally done her magic on this building.

Reposted from @moabudu Please take a look at some of the ‘before’ pictures of this building which we took possession of in October 2020, now EBONYLIFE HQ, home to the EBONYLIFE CREATIVE ACADEMY and EBONYLIFE STUDIOS.

Our architects, Consultants Collaborative Partnership (CCP), assisted with design and project management for four months in turning this building around. The turnaround included all civil, mechanical and electrical works. The civil works were carried out by Eleven Hundred, M&E by Techno Myte and Fuseline. iDesign assisted with the look and feel of our interior design.
Despite the pandemic, we worked crazy hours on turning this building around 😊😊
I am so so proud of all our teams that made this happen👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Thank you all so much ❤️❤️❤️
I will share the transformation images shortly.
Really amazing what we can achieve when we focus 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿

#OAP Tools reveals her revamped #clothing line and urges #Nigerians to #patronize her

Reposted from @toolzo When I initially started @shopsablier in 2018, the idea was always to have a curvy/plus clothing soon after. However as every business person knows, you will likely encounter lots of hurdles as an entrepreneur.
Late last year,  I was so frustrated with everything and was contemplating shutting down the business…then Covid happened, and I was really ready to pull the plug.
Fast forward to a month or so before I had the General, something strong kept urging me to give Sablier one more push. Something very strange happens to me when I’m pregnant, I become fearless, my spirit is energised and my sense of YOLO is extremely strong lol.
I was able to source suppliers for this small (but fabulous) collection, and I did this shoot about 2 months after I had the General.
I was sooo self conscious about my post baby body, but I’m thankful that God sent me a team that eventually got me looking SNATCHED.

Sorry for the essay! Anyway I’m glad I didn’t give up, and I’m super excited to announce that my very affordable Sablier clothing line will launch on Wednesday 4th November!!!
Prices are from N6500 in  UK sizes 14 to 24!!
Come and buy my market ooo!!!

Thank you to an incredible team for helping to ❤❤bring my vision to life.

#Actress Damilola allegedly unveils her New #RangeRover

Many comments are all over the place about how Nigerian actresses are flashing wealth while their male counterparts don’t (whose business is that?) Damilola who has suffered all shades of humiliation through her failed marriage and her Ghanaian Actor Ex husband remarrying and having the new wife murdered had a negative effect on the Mother of one.

While a video shows her unveiling a range rover car in the middle of what seems like a living/ show room, we don’t know for sure if it is hers and how she got it, all we can say right now is “Congratulations”..

With all that has happened to her publicly, it is good to know that she is being favoured by a certain someone or a higher power.

#Covid19 : #Nigeria finally resumes her #internationalflight

View this post on Instagram

After a five-month closure of the Nigerian airspace to scheduled international flights due to lockdown occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic, foreign travel resumed in the country on Saturday when an aircraft operated by Middle East Airlines touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. . The plane which took off from Beirut, Lebanon, landed at the airport at exactly 02:27 pm, The PUNCH can confirm. . Two other airlines including Delta and British Airways are also expected to begin flight operations at the airport today. The Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, is also expected to reopen for international flights. . Earlier on Friday, an inspection team from the Lagos State Government visited the MMIA to ascertain its readiness to resume flight operations. . The team included Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat; the state Transportation Commissioner, Frederic Oladeinde; as well as the state Health Commissioner, Akin Abayomi, amongst others. . They were led round the various facilities in the airport by the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Capt Hamisu Yadudu and the airport manager, Victoria Shina-Aba, alongside other officials. . The FAAN boss had disclosed Friday that Middle East Airlines would operate the first flight into the country today. . The PUNCH had earlier reported that the Federal Government barred some airlines from operating into the country. . The country’s airspace and airports had been shut to flight operations in March to curb the spread of the lethal coronavirus disease which as of Saturday has killed over 1,000 people in Nigeria. . The FG subsequently approved the restart of domestic flights from July 8, adding that effective September 5, international flights would resume with the two airports. . The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, had said there would be sanctions for non-compliance with the guidelines on the part of the approved airlines and the passengers. — Follow us for breaking news and videos. — #internationalflights #reopening #nigeria #flights #punchnewspapers

#Nigerians #Nostalgic and Worried as #ShopRite packs up to exit the #Country after 15 years

With the Covid19 lockdown, job losses and unknown source of income for many, more are still about to lose their jobs in Nigeria as the famous South African supermarket ShopRite are planning to exit the country after 15 years of its existence.

For the grocery retailer to make the rather certain decision to exit the Most populated Country of the Continent after 15 years of activities, then it most have suffered a significant issue.

According to Instablog9ja, the Cape-Town retailer has started a formal process to consider the potential sale of all or a majority stake in its supermarkets in Nigeria, it said in a trading statement for the 52 weeks to end in June released on Monday.

I’m the statement , ShopRite said the results for he year do not reflect any of their operations in Nigeria, as it will be classified as discontinued operation.

The supermarket contributed 11.6% to group sales, and reported 1.4% Decline in sales since 2018. South African operations contributed 78% of overall sales and saw 8.7% rise for the year. As a result of lockdown , customers visit declined 7.4% but the average basket spend increased by 18.4%

The issue now being that this retail supermarket for 15 years has given Nigerians some sort of hangout spots, Jobs, cheaper purchases and a sense of excitement and that is about to me taken away from them.

But they are hoping that the local one man supermarkets will take advantage of this exit to grow their own chain of supermarkets and promote the locally own goods, there by giving jobs. Nigerians are also hoping that the president and law makers will equally come up with a way to take advantage of this exit.

Meet the Proudly #successful 57 year old #Male #Igbo #hairdresser

This will go well for those who understand Igbo language. He is surely an inspiration and I felt the need to promote this son of the soil. What stood out for me is that he said his children (males and females) who are all University graduates are now doing the same line of business and making a living out of it, owing to the fact that there are no jobs in Nigeria.

He also said that he believes that if ever there is something called reincarnation, he will return back to this line of job along side his love for music.

The entire family has gone from making a living out of this trade from Mother, father, and children, to making it so successful that they have had a high number of apprentices pass through them to become their own bosses. A business tradition best known amongst the Igbo nation of Nigeria.

What I got from this man right here that got me inspired, is that he is loves his handwork alot. He added that handwork will always surpass schooling and white collar jobs, because with handwork, you can do that Jon until the day you drop dead, whereas who collar jobs will always need to be employed before they can perform that line of duty.

I love it. Thank you to BBCnewsigbo for this inspirational documentary.

#Davido signs his senior colleagues #MayD to #DMW

Seems when you are on a career line you will have the same thing coming around no matter how much you try to run away from it. After having a fall out with the Okoyes (psquare brothers ) even before the Psquare brothers had an issue with each other. MayD was seen all over the place even in Sweden when he married his swedish wife and we thought he had continued with another line of business. But now he is linking up with Davido and they are collaborating and they are both proudly letting us know that he has been signed to Davido’s record DMW. Congratulations to them.
