Almost a year later, the Supreme #Court declares Ihedioha “No longer a Governor”


The extent up and down of politics can never be underestimated. This court sessions can last for a long as a decade. This is happening right now, as the 2019 gubernatorial election that tool place in imo state has now been nullified after a Governor had been identified and sworn into office for months. This is the extent of the unpredictability of these political ups and downs.

According to news making headlines, the highest form/order of our judgement The Supreme Court, has reportedly nullified the election result of imo that saw Ihedioha as the Governor of Imo State.

The Supreme Court has given reasons why it nullified the governorship election of Imo State and allowed the appeal filed by Hope Uzodinma of All Progressives Congress.

The seven-man panel led by Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammad, agreed that results in 388 polling units were unlawfully excluded during the collation of the final governorship election result in Imo State.
