FG sets aside $1.61bn for 24 hour power supply —TCN

Do like this 🖐️ if you have heard this kind of news before. Me I have heard it and I have lost count of it, but who is counting anyway. We are just hoping that someone eventually finds the solution to this issue. No one is going to come invest in a hurry I’m our country until something as significant as power is made stable. Our neighbouring Ghana here seems to have found their solution and suddenly everyone is interested in the Country.

The Managing Director, Transmission Company of Nigeria, Alhaji Usman Gur says the Federal Government in collaboration with international donor agencies has set aside over 1.61 billion dollars to ensure constant power supply in the country.

Gur, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the TCN revealed this on Sunday in Kano State while briefing newsmen at the Kumbotso power sub-station.

According to him, the project will be carried out under the Transmission Rehabilitation Expansion Programme.

We hope that this whole conversation/news transferred from paper and screen to reality and homes. ain’t nobody gat time for news that won’t have impact in the real world. Nigerians can’t wait for this to be solved. But the way generators and petrol guys are hustling to have their products sell in this country like wild fire, we are hoping that the fear of God will prevail in their hearts and they will let these plans for a steady light happen.
