Where are my soul lovers? Come over here, let us make some magic. So I love to cook, but the problem here is that I have a lot of things for me to do. Blogging, writing and all. Even when I get the chance to cook, I only love to cook rice when I am alone, and cook very good soups, when I have others with me. Which is why today, I will be sharing a the recipe of a new soup that I learnt from my elder sister.

Ingredients For Native Soup    

. Uziza Leaves

. Uziza seed

. Prawn or Shrimps

. Stock fish

. Dry fish

. Cray fish

. Seasoning cube

. Salt

. Pomo

. Palm oil

. Cocoyam

. Periwinkle

. Red meat/white meat

. Pepper

. Water

— Wash and spice beef and stock fish with salt,seasoning, and pepper, allowing it to cook till meat is tender.

— Wash and boil cocoyam til it is soft. Bring down and pound till it makes a smooth paste.

— Add crayfish, palm oil,Pomo,dry fish, prawn/shrimps to the boiling pot of meat for 3-5 minutes.

— Add cocoyam in scoops to the boiling pot of meat.

— As the cocoyam dissolves, add water to your desired consistency.

— pound and sieve Uziza seed, and then pour into the pot.

— Wash and add periwinkle into the pot.

— Finally, wash, slice and add to your pot, allow to simmer for three minutes before dropping the    pot.

— Consume with the swallow of your choice. #nativesoup
