(18+): The Reason why Nigerian women assume their belly is part of their private part.

According to the definition of a private part, it is the body part that is meant to be kept from the eyes of the public. This is the as a result of Adam and Eve’s hunger or cravings for the forbidden fruit, which they accrued to be the result of the snakes convincing power(Talk about not taking the blame for your actions). The fact that we all go about our daily lives with a piece or two and some itty bitty under garment, is very comforting to my wellbeing. I have been opportune do to see some humans naked, and believe me when I say, not being naked is the best option for us.

My sister and I, believe that nakedness is not as cute as you would expect, until you are a gym rat. Now what are the actual body parts that should be considered private. This question might have similarities and differences, based on your country of residence. I am going to give the reason for my conclusion.

The actual nakedness as we known it, is always the sexual organs. While some believe that you are to only cover the exact spot of the sexual organ, others believe you are suppos to include the body parts that are close to the sexual organ. For example, in the U.S or first world Countries, , most Youths have a different idea of covering their nakedness. The young and popping ENGLISH girls and boys, will tell you that they can only cover up the vagina, the anus, and the nipple. But Even while they cover these, we mostly get to clearly see them through a light clothing. Which to them, is being covered, so you are basically allowed to see the buttock, the entire breast just without the nipple, the thighs, and every other thing.  In that same country, the conservative elderly, will yell at their child for wearing a really short shirt, a really short shorts that lets their butty hang, and a clothe that reveals the belly. This same country has the people called the Amish, that will not have you show your ankles, upper arms, or even you collar bone, and some others live in a community where everyone walks around naked (The nudists). All this cultures can be found right there in one country. The melting pot called America, has people from all over the world living there, and in with their own cultures, and some others formed in the country.

In the Muslim world, a woman is not suppose to show anythin at all, not her face (for the sake of not taken away by another man), not her ankles, not even their hair.

Now, in Nigeria, the majority of the South, believe in covering the body parts that are close to the actual sexual organ. In fact, they involve the belly in Nigeria. For no reason , the Nigerian mother is considered inappropriate when she allows her daughter dresses in a form that reveals her belly. The belly is not a private part. This is the part that carries the baby, it is not the a sexual organ it self. Most women who have given birth, will rather just hide their belly and its fat so well from the public, because she doesn’t want anyone looking at it. The Nigeria mother who exercises, will freely let anyone see her belly from time to time, even without giving it any thought, but the ones who never exercise, will mentally conclude on their own, that the belly is now part of their private part.

So, the reason why Nigerian women decide that their belly is part of their private part, is because of the fact that is accumulated their. They don’t like it, and they don’t know how to get ride of it, so they just hide it. But for the women who know how to get rid of it, they hit the gym, workout the fat, and get relief. Hiding your tummy is fat clothing, is a big burden. But for a person who has done it for so long, it becomes a way of life, sort of a habit, until He/she get rid of it, and then they have something to compare it to, and they realize how reliving it actually is to have a normal stomach. It is so lay a wife who has seen the light, that will call her child and husband to it. If a woman doesn’t know hat to do about her big tummy, she can’t teach her husband how to get rid of his, or how her kids can get rid of theirs. This simply means that there isn’t any age limit for the people who go to the gym. An elderly grandma and grandpa can go to the gym to outlive their peers. A pregnant woman can go to the gym, and have the instructor tell you what to do. A husband and wife can have a gym date. It doesn’t have to be food all the time, you can work out togther and have fun with it. You belly us not a curse, it is a blessing. It is growing big, because of the things you have eaten. It is never permanent, it is just your mind telling you not to do something about it. Find a gym today, and sweat out the wahala. God Bless the Women of Nigeria.

The psychology of Exercise on humans and their stress level.

Taken from a Masters in social pychology book, I will give you readers, the most clearly explained effect of exercise to the human mind.p and body.  Taken from the ‘Health and psychology chapter’, I will let you just read for yourself, the content of the subtitle that was titled :

EXERCISE.

If we think about how stress prepares our body for movement and action, there is an intuitive logic to moving and using the energy that has been  mobilized as a way of calming the stress response. This turns out to be true, and physical exercise is an excellent method for managing stress.

People who exercise regularly show greater feelings of self-efficacy, more energy , and they tend to be more extroverted and sociable. These types of correlation could work in the other direction(self-efficacy and energy cause you to exercise) but we can experimentally have people exercise and then see these effects occur. Physical exercise seems to improve psychology well-being, and just 10 minutes of aerobic exercise has been demonstrated to improve mood. Regular exercise reduces the risk of many chronic illnesses and has been used as an effective intervention for a number of mental illnesses including depression and anxiety disorders.

Exercise has been known to increase neurogenesis, the creation of new neurons, in the hippocampus. You may be familiar with “runner’s high”, which refers to the release of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers, following a bout exercise. These endorphins (as well as enkephalins) boost mood, relieve pain , and improve quality of sleep.

Ironically, while exercise is an effective strategy for relieving stress, stress can become a barrier which prevents people from exercising. Feeling that they have too much work and too little time, people may fail to get adequate exercise, even though it would help to reduce their overall stress level (and improve their health). Exercise can be a way of exerting control and feeling a greater sense of self-efficacy, though it’s important to note that this only refers to voluntary exercise. Rats given the opportunity to engage in exercise by running on a wheel show reductions in glucocorcoids levels, but those forced to exercise (for the same amount of time) show increase in their glucocorcoids levels.

As with perceived control, it might be possible to have too much of a good thing. While moderate exercise is associated with increased testosterone in males, those who run more than 40 miles a week actually show higher glucocorcoids levels and lower reproductive function (decreased testosterone production and smaller testes). Females who engage in excessive exercise also show reduction in reproduction function, including delayed onset of puberty and amenorrhea ( cassation of menstrauation). Over exercise can also leads o decreased bone density in both males and females (probably caused y the elevated glucocorcoids levels).

Moderate exercise may engage multiple aspects of stress management, providing people with a sense of control over their lives and their health. Exercise can also provide a source of social  engagement  and group cohesion, whether the form of an organized team or just a jogging partner . Sofia support is another component of stress management , and this means that exercising with a firmed may allow you to fight stress on to fronts.

I don’t think I would have said this any better than the author of his time book that I have found myself to be insessed with. It looks at every aspect of the humsna life,  but I am only letting you guys read the “Execise” part, which is the most important to me, because this author said it more than I would have ever done.

How to get a quick digest before bedtime.

It is 12:03am ⏰🌚 in the morning, and I am still awake, leaving me with 2 hours before bed time. I have a thing or two still need to round up, and I can still feel my cereal (dinner) in my stomach.
Trying to kill two birds with one stone, I have my cup or Green/Lipton tea🍵☕🌿🍀🌱🌲🌳🌴. Mainly for a very quick digestion, and keeping me alert until I am ready to finally rest, and emptying my belly for an easier workout tomorrow morning.

I automatically burb/belch and then my stomach gets relief. Food weight is almost unnoticeable in my stomach, and I get my relief.

ObyOrijifitness: How to Slim your arms right there in your home.

I usually have my regular Permanent workout moves  every morning, that inculcates the belly, legs, and arms. But sometimes, concentrating on  a certain body part that isn’t getting enough attention while you are having a general workout, can be considered very vital. When you are looking to look your best, and get the best result, you have to take into cognizance your body part that isn’t responding as much as you would like, when you exercise it.

This is the reason why most people forget some other body parts while working on others. It is not a safe thing to do. Forgetting other parts and just working on your belly, is equally unhealthy. What will it look like, having a healthy belly, but every other body part is unhealthy?

Mothers day specials: The Best Sitting Room Workout for stay home Moms.

Come in here mothers. The era where you make excuses for not being fit and on your grind, is clearly coming to an end. We as women have all it takes to make ourselves feel good in pur very own skin. This is the reason why I am sharing with you, the really effective sitting room workout routine that has kept me in check for a while now.

Every morning when wake up, I go for my twenty laps to and fro, which could also could  be seen as 40 runs, up and down my very slopy street, and then sweat it all out. It rejuvenates me, clears my mind, and keeps me in check with the ability to carry on my daily goals. I have been able to record myself sweating all out, and then coming home to work on some specific parts of the body. I  concentrated on my belly, that always have to look at least flat for a good look.

This #FitnessFriday is dedicated to the importance of stretching!
After I work out, it’s important for me to stretch and lengthen. Fitness is not just about running, lifting and punching. For me, being athletic and super fit is also about being still, stretching and breathing. Including stretching in my fitness program helps my muscles stay long, limber, improves my mobility and range of motion and, most importantly, helps me avoid injuries. This is one of my favorite #yoga poses, the shoulder stand, that stretches my lower spine and legs. I feel 2 inches taller after this stretch! Some people use yoga poses to manage stress, increase circulation, for medication, recovery, better sleep, and mobility just to name a few.

ObyOrijifitness: Ladies, this is how to get rid of fat Arms.

Fat arms has always and will always be a big problem for women, due to the hormonal changes their bodies go through, from being a single woman, to giving up your body for procreation and give birth to another life, who will then rely on you forever, until adulthood. Most woman adore the act of birthing, that they have so many, and then put themselves at the bottom of their priority list, gaining so much weight, that they accept the new size, as the size they were meant to be. Meanwhile, you could actually go even lower and lighter in size, than  you were before you have the kids.

But over the years, some women have openly said that their husbands have express their preference for their new size. Saying they don’t want their wives to lose weight for any reason, because it is for some reason, sexy to them, when their wives get really fat. I am not the one to tell any lady what is good for her, but in this era of fat related diseases likes diabetes, heart attacks, cardiac arrest and so on, there is always no advantage, no gain, not advisable for any one to pick being fat, over being fit and healthy. No one who loves his wife, will want to tell his wife to get really fat for him, for the sake of sex, which is selfish and inconsiderate for anyone to wish upon a woman they claim to love.

So, we have had more women complain about only losing weight on their arms, which Nigerians call a ‘Christian Mother’ arm, rather than lose weight in their entire body. And this is what we have brought today.

And today, we will be looking at how to remove rolls from you armpit, and reduce the size of your arm. But when you want to make the arms muscular and fit, then the gym, cardio,and lifting, will do the magic.

.Circular rotations:  Stretch out your arms by your side, to the height of your shoulders. Make sure it is stretched out Straight, and then make a circular move with the both of them at the same time with a speed that will raise your heart rate, roll it clock wise and anti clock wise 30 times each.

.Alternate Arm Waves: This moves involves swinging your arms just like you do when you walk on a normal day,  but this time around, you have swim it with a very significant force, to raise your heart beat. You can swing both arms, while you match on a spot, like you are trying to have a match time, which is matchin on a spot. Doing it 60 times with 30 on both arms.

.Arms Spreads to back and front: This moves involves stretching your arms out by your sides, like you did in circular rotations, but this time around, you quickly stretch the arms at the same time in front of you, and take them back at the same time to your sides, still stretched out, doing it 30 times. And then you do the same thing, but this time, taking both hands to the back. This time, you have to take it easy with this move, to limit pain and injury,as it is not every body you can take their hands to the back. Try to do it slowly the first day, and increase the pace as time goes on as you do it 30 times everyday.

.Hands Above head: Stretch out your arms by your side, and then you lift them both to above your head, at a speed high enough to increase your heart beat, and do it for 30 times in the first day, because this can be really effective.

.Making Angel on the floor: When you lay straight on the floor, put both legs together, and then you stretch out your arms and flap them in a circular motion like a bird with both arms at the same time, doing it 30 times.

Before we start, I will like to state that because the Governemnt of Nigeria, does not hand out welfare to anyone,no matter your situation,  it means that everybody, be you on the light or heavy side, will have to work, or rely on a relative, to feed you. So in reality, what this means is that, the size of mobidly obsess people we have abroad( U.S, Canada,U.K), in Countries where their Governemnt actually feeds the handicaps, they have a lot larger obsess people than what we have in Nigeria. Big  women in Nigeria are surprisingly very active. They still seen walking to their stores, going to the market, preparing their kids for school, and having a normal life.

The difference here in these two circumstances, is that fact while the government and family members of the other countries, helps the citizens get that big, which in some other people’s words, ‘Encourages’ them to keep living the unhealthy life style that is killing them, their counterparts in Nigeria actually have to face their very own consequences, they run their homes the normal way that everyother person is doing, because no one has the time to baby sit them.

But the question here today is this:

.Is there a particular weight that has been seen as an impossible an irreversible place to return from? . The answer is :

.Absolutely not.

Every  body  weight is completely reversible with a better diet and excercise. The issue with some people is that, after losing their fat, due to the extremities involved in their obesity, their skin gets extremely stretched, and they cannot even get a normal life until they have undergone a skin tuck surgery, where they have their excess skin removed, for them to feel better and lighter to live a normal life.

So with this said, there actually is no size you are currently on, that can’t be drastically reduced with exercise and diet. Say “No” to that voice in your head, telling you that it is a scam that they tell you all these positive stories, for you to buy products. You are limiting yourself, not the body. So please, especially the women, if you are ashamed or conscious of your body, and don’t want to be made fun of, the hire a personal trainer who can either have a private workout session with you in the gym, or at your home.

The surprising thing I saw people do on the road today.

In as much as we all want to lead a healthy life, there is always the need to trade with caution. After my run   Earlier  today, I was opportune to visit the busy main road, now crowded with cars and school kids and even workers,  where I saw a hand full of individuals like myself, running. while they ran on the road meant for cars just because the pedestrian walk way was flooded as it was being used by other people. And since they don’t want to run into anyone, they would rather run on the busy road, expecting vehicles to avoid them while they run. That is a selfish and high dangerous thing to do.

The danger involved here, can never be over emphasized. When people run early in the morning, even without having to disturb the road meant for cars, they are exposed to robbery, rape, accident, and fall. Now this has been known to be the regular stories coming from runners. But when you go as far as running on the way meant for vehicles, then you are doubling your already known risks. So please guys, don’t expect drivers to protect you when you can’t protect yourself by running on the path meant for pedestrians. Protecting yourself was the reason why you woke up in the first place to run. Losing weight and stay alive was the aim of your exercise, So please don’t contradict yourself by placing your body in a place that it can be gravely harmed.

Run on the pedestrian walk way. And if you can do that, then please engage in some kind of exercise that doesn’t require the road. Stay safe while living healthy. You can run in your neighborhood, you can run in your compound, and you can run on your street. It doesn’t have to be the road. There is the option for cardio, and gym. Those too can be safe for you while you try to get your goal body. Stay safe honeys .
